What were you doing in 2007?

that was the year i was struck by major depression and no adults in my life recognized the symptoms. I didn't either. i didn't know what mental health was. But my mum had studied child psychology for two years and my dad works in healthcare...how could they not have known?
I almost failed that year. I was the worst student of my class. I remember my teacher called me to her desk and asked me "Do you think you deserve to pass?" and I shook my head in shame. I felt so guilty for feeling paralyzed and numb.

I was back to building houses (I had stopped for a few years )
I was helping my ex study for nursing school
Taking her back and two to college ,having killer meals ready for her when she got home (her friends called her the "kept woman ",I often took hot meals to her for lunch too ,we live close to the college .
I was working and a being the house wife LOL I wanted her to be top in her class ,she was .She made the deans list every month ,she had the highest grades in her class ..our son is like that too .
Looking after my Mom ,thats the year her health took a turn for the worst
she had to go on dialysis
Self Medicating killed her kidneys

Traveling and told my boss am quiting the job because I can deal with hypocrites.

I was one year into the best job of my life.

Sophomore/junior year of high school for me. Was a good year. I made the lacrosse team, I went to Disneyland that summer...good times :)

I was in 8th grade middle school and in the summer I got my very first electric wheelchair.

I had a 3 year old and an 11 year old. I was pretty much just MOM. 🙂

I owned my own salon and if I wasnt there I was out partying.

Leaving secondary school and starting college :)

Falling in love with life and feeling selfless

I was 17, things were okay. Kind of sad most of the time, but life was good cause I was still a kid.

Besides being a goth 8th-grader weirdo at primary school I was watching all horror movies I could find and wrote reviews on last.fm and explored Deviantart. Or maybe it was 2008. 🤷

Washing dishes. The following year I was in Fort Sill field artillery base. Life sure is unpredictable.

Idk. I was seven. Probably doing grade 2 stuff, lol.

Starting out in teaching

I had just lost two very dear friends and was also very ill. That and 2008 were not great years.
