Have you looked at yourself and realised you have traits that you never liked in others

I have
rckt148 · 61-69, M
I added to a post about judging others a verse from the Bible
"Be careful how high you think yourself lest you fall "
I got cussed out over it and called names ,the guy saying I misapplied the scripture ,
I was saying that from me own experience ,I understood his post ,
At one time I was very self righteous ,bad to judge others for their shortcoming but never looking at my own ,,my pride led me to a big fall ,and something I never thought I would do ,I did .
Now I understand another verse a lot better too
pull the beam out of your own eye before you try to remove the speck out of the eye of another .
Now that I am working on this tree in my own eye ,
I am careful not to judge others anymore ,,wish I had taken the first verse to heart just a little sooner

@puck61 No Puck we can blame men who use Gods word to do exactly what God said not to do
Thou Shalt not Murder ,was written in stone
And the times have not changed much since the days of Christ
its the Religious that would once more crucify God ,if He gave then another chance ,
The problem is not the word of God ,its the men who misuse it
And Puck ,,that Whore Revelations speaks of is alive and well
and she has deceived most of the world ,you know why?
People listen to men instead of studying for themselves ,and seeing what God requires of us ,and millions will allow a man that speaks Great Blasphemy ,to lead them right to destruction .
but all the signs as to who it is and what they will do to expose them were right there in the Bible
But satan is good at his job ,
Now million are opposing God and think they serve Him
another group does not believe in God at all
And there is a FEAR about understanding Gods word ,many prefer to believe its not valid
And the ones who say "they hear from God " do exactly what they were told not to do ,,,So is the fault in the Bible ? or the men who use it as a weapon against Gods children ,not the sword of righteousness it was intended to be ?
The Papacy says under No circumstances should a Non Catholic even have access to a Bible ,,the Pope is infallible and only he has the right to tell you what Gods says ,,and he also has the authority to change Gods laws as he see's fit
God said call no man Father except your Father in heaven
Christ is the only mediator between man and God
So why is the Pope called "Holy Father " and they are taught Mary is the mediator ?Good reason why we should not have a Bible ,Like Luther ,we can see for ourselves at least this man is not listening to God LOL
The Jews deny Christ is the Messiah ,the Muslims say its the worst sin to believe in Christ ,without Christ they better get perfect ,,,
No other sacrifice is accepted by God ,Christ blood is our only chance for atonement ,,and its a lie that it was applied at the cross ,if that were so no one would be lost ,Christ paid for the sin of Hitler and all the other evil men,
The Bible shows that blood will be applied at the end of the World ,
and ONLY for those who's names are still in the Book of life ,,
They how kept the commandments of God ,and knew Christ
(you need to know someone to believe in them ,so how do we get to know Him?)
The answer is in the Bible LOL
@rckt148 Yes. That's why I use the word "incidental" blood. He said He came not with 'peace' but a sword. Incidentally the Abrahamic scriptures including the Quran have been used to justify all manner of evil. I went through phases and buried myself in scripture for a time, but then a 'karma ran over my dogma'. I don't think things are quite what they appear, and no supernatural politics is exclusive to all of humanity. I don't take the bible literally. I believe the creation story is poetic allegory. Snakes don't talk, evil is a side effect of 'reason', there are no magic trees with fruits that make you immortal or aware of good and evil. Donkeys don't talk, confounding human language is a very temporary set back to human progress. So on and so forth. Figuratively, my sword belongs to the Christians, but I don't take the bible literally. I honor and respect your beliefs though, and I definitely do not consider my opinion to be any more valid than yours.

@puck61 And I do respect you Puck and your beliefs or opinions ,I am not trying to convert anyone ,I am looking for some believers who have been taught wrong as I was ,and I share with them a doctrine I do believe with all my heart was shown to me by God ,and 3 visions to prove it was God ,
One I took seriously and it saved my family ,the other I did not understand but in hind sight I should have and it cost me dearly not listening ,and the last events to come and my part in them ,
And clear revelations as to who speaks for God and who is a liar
And Puck the devil was not a snake he was cunning like a serpent ,
He was a being created to be a living instrument for God the Father
He was so handsome he became vain ,and his ego got the best of him ,but he was persuasive ,1/3 of the angels followed him in a rebellion against Michael .
Michael was the only one to ever see God and allowed in the Holy of Holies so that should tell you who Michael actually is ,,Only one has actually seen God .
So the most handsome angel cast down ,this was his prison ,
Adam was warned to leave him be ,but Eve was beguiled ,tricked
They were naked all along ,why now do they see a problem with it ?
How is it Adam has twins ,1 good one evil
How is it if it was an apple they made clothes from figs leaves ?
Why was childbirth and pain now part of the punishment ?
Enmity between Gods seed and the other one
The fist male to breach the womb is Gods ,so that had to be Able ,
The beasts are kingdoms ,the one we need to be concerned with is on of the 4 from Daniels vision ,that was ,was not and was to be again ,
one that came out of 10 and right away destroys 3
the 7 left are busted up into 5 ,,History shows exactly who was destroyed and who the 5 are ,,
its a lot of work to really study that why we are called "workman" that won't be ashamed
But my spine had crippled me a few times ,my life has been turned upside down a few times ,I now see that God wanted me to quit pretending I knew Him and actually come to know Him .
My life has been turned around for the good since I have ,,so I believe I have found the right road ,wish I could just let others see what I have seen and then maybe they would not have such trouble ,
But I understand ,I used to hate God ,but I have seen the devil as well ,my Mom was a good servant too just not for God .
So I have very good reasons for my faith ,but I do respect you Puck
You have always been kind to me and very respectful ,so believer or not ,or a believer who just does not believe in the Bible ,I think we still have other interests in common and respect for others
So I am happy with that ,as I said ,its not my job to save
I try to encourage others ,and let God do His job ,He is way better at it then me
Have a good one ,always a pleasure chatting with you

I noticed that when answering questions on Okcupid it turned out that I didn’t want my potential match to have some of the traits I have.
ramgopal · 31-35, M
@PaleandPolluted it's better that way. To balance out too much of one character in a relation will cause problems I think.
PaleandPolluted · 36-40, F
@ramgopal opposites attract
ramgopal · 31-35, M
@PaleandPolluted haha yes very much. More fun
SimplyTracie · 26-30, F
Yes and I don't like it
ramgopal · 31-35, M
@SimplyTracie what you say is true. But it's the worst when you realise that few moments after judging someone. It's hits you so hard.
SimplyTracie · 26-30, F
@ramgopal That would be bad 😝
ramgopal · 31-35, M
@SimplyTracie yass haha difficult to take. I try not to judge now
I became aware of that at an early age. My folks tried to open my third eye with high grade LSD, psilocyben, and mescaline at a very early age. In some ways it was helpful. A self awareness beyond my years was one of the benefits.
Being born into the outer fringes of the counter culture spared me a childhood of mediocrity, that's for sure! Some of it was terrifying and painful, but I consider myself very lucky to have lived the life I have.
ramgopal · 31-35, M
@puck61 lucky it made you a better person.
@ramgopal I'm self aware, insightful, discerning, empathetic, and compassionate, but I'm not a better person. I hope I never come off that way. My self aggrandizement is deprecation. I'm a barbaric fatalist.
whateverhappens · 26-30, F
heartless.. yes, but i am never nasty to good people.
ramgopal · 31-35, M
@whateverhappens good 😁

Yes being a part of the human race. Rather than being a wolf my ture self.
Yeah. It can be eye opening.
ramgopal · 31-35, M
@ProdigalSummer it is actually. I try to change.
