I Am An Mra

News just in;

"Yes avfm ( a voice for men) is strongly opposed to marriage because the institution of marriage is nothing more than slavery for men. The same can be said for.having children. Father a child in this gynocentric feminist culture is about as smart as playing ba<x>seball with a live grenade. Marriage is worse. Most MRAs who aren't already married vow to never do so. This is why MRAs and MGTOWs are so close. We share that same philosophy."

This kind of puerile crap is exactly why the MRA is a hate group. It attacks fathers and marriage. What exactly does it stand for in a positive way, I wonder?

Prenuptial agreements are basically worthless.

"All fifty states have adopted a law called Uniform Premarital Agreement Laws, which explain when and how a prenuptial agreement will be upheld. It is important to remember that a prenuptial agreement is worthless if a judge determines that it is not valid. For this reason, it is crucial for each partner to have independent legal representation when writing up a prenuptial agreement. "

Seems easy enough to understand.

"A prenuptial agreement is a legal contract between two people who plan to get married. Also called a premarital agreement, a prenuptial agreement spells out how the couple's assets will be divided upon death or divorce. While breeching the subject of a prenuptial agreement before the big day can be an awkward and romance killing endeavor, there are several benefits to having a prenuptial agreement. "

This is taken from your own link, Jack. It seems to state pre-nups are of benefit to marriage partners. Did you actually read it?

Did you read it.
" The courts will not honor any prenuptial agreement if they feel that it is unconscionable (unreasonable) or that it was signed under duress, threat, or force by either party.A judge will also not uphold any prenuptial agreement provision that has to do with child custody or child support. Spouses have the right to waive their own rights (i.e. rights to property or alimony) in a prenuptial agreement but not the rights of their children. A judge always has the final word on issues involving children after death or divorce. A child's best interests will always have priority over the will of either parent in a divorce."

Which is why it recommends you have a pre-nuptial written up and witnessed by a lawyer.

"A child's best interests will always have priority over the will of either parent in a divorce."

I don't see any problem at all with last statement. If a father does have a problem with that, it's obvious he put's his own interests before those of his children. Like you obviously do.

I don't see anything in that link that indicates that prenuptial agreements are "basically worthless" as JB claims. Once again he either doesn't understand what the article says or he wants to believe what he wants to believe regardless of whether or not it is actually true.

Exactly!....that link he provides is a guide to how to make your pre-nuptial agreement legally sound. It also states why you cannot make pre-nuptial agreements in respect of custody of jointly parented children.
