I Feel Overwhelmed Sometimes

My really good friend and I had plans this Thursday to go to a local Amish town and eat their delicious goods. It was already going to be a bit of a drive and I actually fancy this friend quite a bit.
He just messaged me that hes going to take the whole day off of work and wants to go on an all day adventure with me. We are driving out to a really cool hiking trail that is 4 hours away.
Lately, I've been giving him heavy vibes that I do like him.
Last night, he told all of us that he's bad at coming on to girls.
So is this his way of coming on to me? Idk.
Could this little day trip bring out something amazing between us????
or am I looking too much into it???

You know, almost every story like this I see online, I end up thinking, "How dumb can a person be? That is not nearly enough context for a stranger to be able to competently weigh in on the matter." You need to find some more flattering friends, then. "I have decided you are [i]not[/i] incompetent" is not that great of a compliment, really. Even as the one making it, I'd give it a 6/10 at best on the hierarchy of possible compliments. But I'm glad it made you feel good, anyway.

Well I just take it as that I was able to express myself clearly. its an uncommon compliment and I like those the best.

YOOOOO HEY IT WENT REALLY GREAT!! I don't know if you peeps care, but he expressed his feelings, we cuddled on a mountaintop while it rained, got lost in the woods, traveled for another hour just to get calzones, and we ended the night us cuddled in his bed.
