I Love My Sister
As expected, the last party of the season before my sister and her boyfriend close their party pad until next year was the best! My sister sang all night with her old band and they were all very amazing! 馃ぉ A lot of people showed up for it too. It was pretty much a mini concert, lol.
They did a plethora of cover songs ranging from classic rock to contemporary pop. My sister's singing voice being as strong and versatile as it is, she was able to cover every song very well! The band's current singer provided backing vocals for many songs (which was great for performing duet tracks) and would take over lead vocal duties for a couple songs whenever my sister needed a break from singing her heart out.
I'll never get over how powerful my sister's vocal range is! You would probably never think so just by hearing how low yet soft her normal speaking voice is but she has some incredible pipes on her. 鈽猴笍 Whether singing slow and sultry jazz numbers or screaming for hardcore punk and heavy metal tracks. 馃槸 Not to mention her lively stage presence! She doesn't just stand around and sing, she dances and moves to the music, she engages with audience and gets them moving, she is just a natural performer! 馃槃
It always makes me so happy hearing my sister sing, it's always made me feel so proud of her too. Even though she only sings for special occasions now, it's times like that when I feel like I'm related to a superstar. 馃グ Shame it'll probably be a long time before she performs like that again, if ever again... But I'm just happy I got to see her do it again. 馃挅
