I Want to Live In a Fantasy World

The Faery
by: Rob Paquin

Inside the fantasy
Upon the golden leaf
There sat a tiny faery
Which none could ever reach
Her heart had beem mistreated
A wound she could not fathom
Each day the rift grew wider
A never ending chasm
With words I could not reach her
With a love she could not feel
Within a land of fantasy
None could tell what thoughts were real
I extended my true friendship
She seemed to accept it's touch
But that was where it ended
Because more was just too much
And so she kept on flying
Across her stormy skies
In the rain she felt at home now
Because none could see her cry
Though I could always taste
The difference between tears and rain
Even though they both drop
Neither of them feels the same
In that land without a mirror
So that there never seemed a way
To show her, her own loveliness
Or the beauty she displayed
Such a gorgeous little creature
That faery in my dreams
I only wish she knew how much
Her faery friendship means......

You are such a wonderful friend Rob. A truly beautiful soul. Sometimes the darkness or rain is a blanket we wrap ourselves in to rest and heal. Today my darkness is filled with starlight, each star is a precious word that reaches my heart. I don't feel beautiful or lovely. But I think perhaps a path of starlight has opened.

☺️
Adore you. Thank you

You are both beautiful and lovely. If ever a person could define the difference between the light and the dark, it would be me. I can honestly say, that though you may not see it, your inner light is blinding. Of that I'm sure.

Does a spotlight get blinded by its own brilliance ?
I think not.

You're a spotlight, my dear friend.

When a friend can make you laugh and cry at the same time you know you've got a gem xxx
