I Give Up

In retrospect I like making new friends and meeting new people but when it comes to being Friends with girls (especially me) and then after a year of knowing that person(s), you start having feelings for them. You start to feel like you belong. You want some one to rely on and depend on. The respect is there and the rapport is to. This time I'm not kidding. I'm done with girls, I'm done with Love, and I'm done with the stupid BS that I always put myself into and of course, I'm done with my lady friend and after being her Friend all this time, I'm not going to text her, I'm not going to call her, and more importantly, I'm not even going to bother with her because my feelings for her are True and Genuine, I just can't tell her of I feel because it will just ruin of what we have for one soul purpose, Friendship, but is also feels like the Friendship will eventually diminish over time. That is why I have to walk away and move on. I know it won't be easy to do but it just feels like it's the best thing to do for me because I can't live like this. It's heartwrenching but it really sucks!! 馃槩

If you're not gonna contact her, the friendship is gonna end. So why don't you just take the risk, tell her about your feelings and see how she reacts?

That's the problem I don't know how to tell her. Even if I did know how to and I still don't know if I really should. I know what my heart wants but I know it's not easy either. I can't just go up to her on the public bus and straight out tell her and say, I have feelings for you or I Love You, it's just not that simple.

If she is already a friend why should you have to discuss your feelings for one another in a public place? Why not go out for a few drinks and just tell her how much you enjoy her company.... When you come to kiss her goodnight you'll know soon enough whether she shares your feelings.

Not quite sure what's happened in your case but I have at least one female friend in my life where the relationship is limited to platonic for different reasons but I'd rather compromise and still have them in my life than not.

I think it's great that the friendship meant more to you.
