I have a both a 17 and 15 year old and so far the teen years have been pretty great. We've had some bumpy patches, but overall it's been good. I love seeing little glimpses of the adults they're growing into as they explore thier interests and explore new found independence. Plus they have better taste in music and movies now. 馃榾

@ProdigalSummer: Mine are same age, "seemed" to get a little easier after 13/14. My daughter is the youngest and will always be a challenge.

@ProdigalSummer: are you suggestin annabells wish isnt a cinnamatic classic?
@Fivehole350: i also have a 9 and 6 year old. Teen years with those two kinda scare me. They're already over dramatic and sneaky in ways my older two never were.
@Rebuildingme: I'm suggesting that Barbie movies and kidzbop may be the reason I finally lose my damn mind.

@ProdigalSummer: They learn fast...

@ProdigalSummer: This was a HUGE boost for us when our girls became teenagers. My wife and I no longer had to endure watching kids cartoons and instead could start introducing our girls to the wealth of movies that we've loved over the past decades. We're raising to lil geek girls and couldnt be happier!
@Reboot: It goes both ways too. I introduced them to classics like X files and in turn watch things like Attack on Titan and Death Note with them.

@ProdigalSummer:
That's good to know .
Yes!
It's defdiney nice to see her become more mature and find her own way and interests.
And yes!
It's nice to go to the movies and not watch PG;-)
