About prevalence of surnames in countries

Aight so im back again with the questions ahahaha😆 so yeah. Ive been doing some research on my family surnames using a website called forebears.io, if u dunno what it is its basically some website u can use to fill in ur surname and see where most ppl with ur surname come from on a world map. So yeah i been doing dat with the surnames of my mothers side, and basically it seems all the nicknames are mostly prevalant in African regions. Specifically and mostly Ghana, Nigeria , and Kenya. But does that mean that my family could mainly be from those regions or doesnt it say anything at all ??? Please help me im confused 😂😂😂
