Was it chance or possibly staged?

Two stories have made headlines, one in Arizona and the other in New York. Both are related to drugs and alleged connections to Mexico. The haul in Arizona is said to be staggering and the haul in New York is extremely significant. That being said, I can't help but wonder; after the many declarations by the President about the illegal drugs entering our country particularly through our Southern border, and allegedly coming from Mexico-if these were not somehow "staged". I'm probably stretching here, but it does make me wonder. If the seizures are legitimate, then the President has one hell of a case for pursuing his wall theories.
I tend to lean your way of thinking on this. I wouldn't be surprised at all if these weren't staged. It happens more than people would like to believe.

Except that the bust - in Nogales at least - was at a port of entry. Not out in the sticks where El Cheetoh wants his new wall.
Not arguing that, but just the general fact that a large amount of drugs from Mexico allegedly were seized has its own impetus and just might make many say, yes a wall/barrier is an answer. I can't and don't say for sure.@hlpflwthat

I think those so easily duped are already 100% behind this president, pretty much. I wouldn't put your 'theory' past this administration. But there is already a wall at Nogales.

And the 'bust' in the Bronx was actually just charges filed for a bust last October. Don't get me wrong - I'd love to end the flow of heroin & fentanyl into the country. I just don't think a wall is how we're going to do it.
I'll say this-In America, yes we have and have had a drug epidemic for years. Our laws in all areas including drugs seem to go in the direction of rehab. In that respect, considering the response to drug use and drug dealing in other nations and the harsh penalties that can and do accompany them, is something, thankfully those involved will never experience and our drug problems as treated now will continue. Just my thoughts.@hlpflwthat
