Heavy snow switching to freezing rain later today. Hope the power stays on.

Got my emergency candles ready, my water jugs filled, and my food is already cooked, just in case. =)

Still though, it would suck if it goes out. Guess I'd have to just sit here in the dark, and cold, and read.. from a book.

@PoetryNEmotion at the moment, below freezing, and blowing heavy snow. It just really started a couple hours ago, I think we're gonna get a foot or so before it switches to freezing rain. The roads will be a mess, if not already. I hope work is cancelled. I will know soon.

@PoetryNEmotion Not too often, but it happens. It's the freezing rain that puts the power at risk, depending on how much of it and for how long, it has the potential to bring down power lines, falling trees, etc.
