Do you find pleasure in hating?

In the right places, I honestly do..
Fernie · F
There is something radically wrong with that...your hatred, in "the right places" can certainly be valid but to derive any pleasure from the feeling of hatred is messed up imo...that's vindictiveness
Sepia · 36-40, F
@Fernie right places...when you keep the peace and the other aggreviates..anger is earned as they desire
Fernie · F
@Sepia the issue I have with your question is the word "pleasure"...that is nothing more than vindictiveness if you feel pleasure from your hatred...and vindictiveness is toxic
SW-User
Absolutely not. Hate is your OWN worst enemy!
Sepia · 36-40, F
@Peaches I didn't even say I hold on to hate... @SW-User I didn't say I enjoy hating..I don't think one is going to stay around too long with people who hurts? Yeah my question is for everyone to answer, everyone is free to say but one must not put words on someone's mouth..if you intend to understand
SW-User
@Sepia This is ridiculous! Your words and yours only. I put it in bold lettering to refresh your memory...

@SW-User "specifically" in "the right places" yes but never "enjoy hatred" which is too general
even anger makes me noticeably sick and not myself.
@CopperCicada But you are working on it like I am. Thank you for your thoughts.
Donna15 · 41-45, F
No, hate is our worst enemy
Harmonium1923 · 51-55, M
No, although I did just teach my kid the meaning of the word “schadenfreude”.
Sarabee · 41-45
@Sepia said the squid to Ariel " body language"
Sepia · 36-40, F
@Sarabee hehe
Harmonium1923 · 51-55, M
@Sarabee Joy in the misfortunes of others.
SW-User
No, I find no pleasure in that.
I wish people could find it in their hearts to treat everyone in a kind manor, but until they can or do, then there are those for my own peace of mind,that I need to stay away from.
liondog · 51-55, M
Why spend your life hating when there's so many better things to do?
Sepia · 36-40, F
@Fernie I didn't say I spend my life hating hehe
Sepia · 36-40, F
@liondog not me..it is a question for everyone to answer
Fernie · F
@Sepia Nope...you did not
GJOFJ3 · 61-69, M
I believe it is only an imagined pleasure because we believe our hate will cause them pain or discomfort when in reality they don't care that we hate them.
Keepitsimple · 51-55, F
Not really. Usually I’m good for avoiding and hiding from anything I don’t like or makes me feel that awful.
Peaches · F
@Keepitsimple Me too!
SW-User
Hate can be useful, and yes, even pleasurable.
SW-User
@Fernie Sad how a narrative makes rational folk into robots, that's sad :)
Fernie · F
@SW-User I really don't understand what you are saying except that it's quite dark.Your take on things like this are dark...THAT is a sad way to be
SW-User
@Fernie Thanks for taking notice, it shows to me you are a soul awake. Imagine however a way of looking at things that to you now is sad, but if you're situated in it, which isn't too far out, it can lend a whole new way of seeing things, and those who say it's sad, are just not seeing it the way you do. :)
Peaches · F
No, it messes up my physiological well being.✨😔
Fernie · F
@Peaches how ZEN!!!!!!
Peaches · F
@Fernie Hahaha❣🤗✨[c=#BF0000]*HUGS*💓[/c]
SW-User
No it makes me feel sick to my stomach
Peaches · F
@SW-User I concur!
Fluffy407 · 41-45, F
No, it’s like drinking liquid earwax
AllAboutLaffs · 70-79, M
It's too much work ...
Not hate but dislike. I'm learning as I get older when I dislike a person to totally switch off and feel nothing for them. Unless I work with them.... Then yes... I FUCKING HATE
No. Hating is like a poison. It effects you. I am working on eliminating hate from my life. I still stand up for justice. Because that is right. But I am going to strike hate from my heart eventually.
alan20 · M
I wouldn't call it pleasure but there's one teacher in my past that I'd be a hypocrite to pretend I don't still hate. It's not a regular obsession though.
DownTheStreet · 51-55, M
it’s an extreme emotion and although it can be all consuming, can anyone claim they’ve lived without truly experiencing hate (just as love) ?
LindaM · 61-69, F
Mustermann · 36-40, M
I think hate can be converted into a force for good sometimes, but in most cases it brings nothing good with it.
Diesel95 · 36-40, MVIP
I used to until I realised it was holding me back now I figure it's a waste of my time
amObsolete · 100+, T
No. Can't. Don't want to. It would destroy me, I have no doubt.
Sarabee · 41-45
No no no soon you'll become so insidious 😉
DarkMoon · 22-25, M
Yea. What we hate and who we hate defines us.
No, it makes me feel bad
uncalled4 · 56-60, M
Hate is a very strong word. I don't "hate" anyone, but I DO have a seemingly bottomless well of contempt for several individuals....and yes I do like it. :)
Fernie · F
@uncalled4 Hating someone's behavior makes sense...but hating the whole person doesn't
