If Trump is innocent of collusion then WHY is he acting so guilty?

Ppl that are innocent and have nothing to hide would not protest so much, fire so many ppl ( which he finds a threat regarding the investigation into ties with Russia) and write all these angry tweets?!!!
Docdon23 · M Best Comment
He is guilty--he is used to two tactics--bullying his accusers, and telling lies--he openly admits he lies and people believe him.
FreeSpirit1 · 51-55, F
@Docdon23 but what crime was broken?,being an asshole is not enough.
@Docdon23 thank you for being real!!!!
@FreeSpirit1 I guess we will find out shortly right? The list appears pretty long! Hurray to Mueller!

He may or may not be innocent of collusion in the election. The problem for Trump (and his family and the Trump Organization) is that there IS a strong connection with Russian State Controlled banks. Start looking at Trumps business history and you can see how likely it is that he "did a good deal" that amounts to money laundering, bribery or tax evasion. Now Okay. Those are crimes.. But the real problem for American citizens is what leverage than gives a newly re-elected Putin over the Orange boy to keep it quiet.
Putin cant lose over this. American policy in a complete shambles and disgraced on the world stage, or a President under the thumb... Who looks like the good deal man now?🤔

@TexChik I dont watch CNN or Fox news.I prefer independent reporting. The BBC have quite a good service.

Something is fishy. His lawyers say Trump will cooperate. Trump says he wants to talk to Mueller. And yet, he wants to shut down the investigation.

The way I see it, being that Trump is all about justice, he should let Mueller continue and maybe Counsel will put some bad guys in jail. I’m absolutely positive that our dear president has done nothing illegal.

I’m sure we all want Mueller to seek out and prosecute criminals. I surely do.

@SimplyTracie Honey! Ur far from it!!!! Lol!

Take a look at egotism and narcissism - look at megalomaniac, and consider what it means to be morally and ethically bankrupt. These are all things that describe Trump to a tee. It is who he is. He hides everything he can for the simple reason that his personal, professional and political background is a landmine covered in lies, deceit, corruption, personal gain, and bullying. He uses those incapable of thinking, which unfortunately covers a broad spectrum of the population. Many of his supporters, if not most of them, picked him for a single, or maybe two reasons. Things like wanting a border wall, being against abortion, or whatever it was he used at any given moment in time as part of his platform. Voting for a president is not a fix for a single or a couple of problems, it's a long game in which you are betting the person will better the country, not just your own personal life. I could go on and on; but I think you get where I'm going. Small minds put him where he is, small, fearful, willfully ignorant minds who can't see past their own little world.

@TexChik I give you the respect of treating you as sincere in your comments. I would rather you didnt call me a liar thanks.
TexChik · F
@whowasthatmaskedman you just said obama didn’t say that . To anyone but a lib... that’s a lie !
whowasthatmaskedman · 70-79, M
@TexChik I said I could not find it anywhere. Not that he didnt say it.. I cannot be held responsible for failures in your cognitive processes, although they do explain some things. I think we are done here.👋
Because he’s lived his whole life not having to be accountable for his actions.
@Notmesam Right On!!!!!

while i agree, you can’t really arrest someone for ‘acting shifty’

except if you’re wearing a hoodie in the wrong neighborhood apparently
@SW-User time will tell correct?
@SW-User oh! Excuse me!
rottenrobi · 56-60, F
@Shewolfiie69 Time will tell. No worries. ☺️
CountScrofula · 41-45, M
I don't even necessarily believe he is a Russian agent or all that stuff. I think the Russia stuff is mostly a sideshow from the really heinous stuff going on with that administration. He's more likely to be guilty of money laundering.

But yeah, I can't imagine someone acting guiltier.
@CountScrofula hello to u! Thx for ur response!!!

I don’t get Trump and never will but what I will really never get my head around is how he became president. Wake me up when it’s all over... when I’m wiser and I’m older 💜

@SW-User obama: 45th best president
@SW-User lol! Heeheehee! That makes two of us!!! It’s like a never ending nightmare!!!!
im not one for all this political nonsense. but i was bullied. both growing up and online. at some point when you have a group of people who constantly attack you as a lot of people do in real life and on these social forums you tend to fight back. just because a person fights back doesnt mean a person is guilty just means that person is tired of all of it. i would think if there was something that should have been proven it would have been. its been like what just about a year into this investigation and nothing has popped up so far. what ever happened to innocent until proven guilty. i dont like the guy. i think he is scum for many reasons but im totally hating this hate culture that has been going on. people making things up for their agenda and because their party isnt in power. both sides do this kind of thing. obama wasnt a US born citizen or that he was a musilim. both sides make up things to attack the other and they get so worked up and spouting hate. its just dumb.
SimplyTracie · 26-30, F
@badapple Personally I think Trump brings it upon himself. He himself is a bully.

I truly believe that if he shuts up and lets his success speak for itself, people will be silenced.
@SimplyTracie This is what I don't understand. At every opportunity he incites bitterness and enmity.
SimplyTracie · 26-30, F
@CopperCicada Yes. He does do that.

I’m reading a book by Sean Covey called The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens. Trump should read it too. He might learn something about leadership.
FreeSpirit1 · 51-55, F
If they didn't get Hillary Clinton for using a private server to avoid scrutiny of her e-mail they won't get Donald Trump for collusion...whatever that means
MasterLee · 56-60, M
@FreeSpirit1 in 7 years the liberals will want to shift their independent counsel to pence and trump will be a memory.
Pherick · 41-45, M
It is interesting to me to see how people in power handle scandals brewing around them (real or imagined)

Nixon, Trump, etc are the types to get so riled up they do something that outs them so plainly.

Obama, Bush, HRC etc see rumors, committee's, whatever scandal COULD be dreamt up out there waiting, but ignore it on focus on their job of leading the country.
Pherick · 41-45, M
@Shewolfiie69 True enough. Though, lets take everyone's favorite scapegoat, Hillary. How many Bengazhi panels did she sit through? How much money wasted? How many charges brought against her?

All through it, I don't think she ever went on any Facebook or Twitter rants about it, atleast none up to the standard of trump.

Thats a leadership quality to me, seeing a problem, acknowledging it, but not letting it stop you from leading. trump can't seem to just set things aside and lead.
@Pherick ok! We most certain seem to be on the same page! Thx! I haven’t been crazy for Hillary! I voted for Bernie! Lol!
Pherick · 41-45, M
@Shewolfiie69 Same here.

I think Hillary is a supreme career politician. I am not a huge fan. I do however dislike it when people pile on someone for made up reasons or just because of her sex.

If Obama had done half of what Trump has said or done so far, they would have drawn impeachment in the Senate.
TexChik · F
@SW-User in terms of official deeds , Trump did more in 3 months than obama did in 2 terms . In terms of unconstitutional and illegal acts ... it seems you memory has failed you !
SW-User
@TexChik Did Obama threaten to fire federal agents investigating him? Did Obama cause Britain to denounce him? Ya ok
MasterLee · 56-60, M
You felt the same way during Obama yes?
@frequentlyme thank you Sir!!!!
@MasterLee come on! Sexual scandals with Obama’s? No Sir!!!!
MasterLee · 56-60, M
Lol so we aren't counting all the other more credible scandals
TexChik · F
Being victimized by incessant fact less attacks tends to piss a guy off...especially one that doesn’t take any crap .
MasterLee · 56-60, M
@Shewolfiie69 high ratings and nothing burgers.
lorne13 · 61-69, M
@Shewolfiie69 you know what will happen, trump will lie constantly and when caught lying he will say he cant remember anything, then ge will try to fire Mueller again
@lorne13 what you’re saying rings true!!!!!
Problem is, he's not innocent, whether he actually "colluded" or not.

He couldn't realistically get convicted, and the political impeachment thing won't happen unless he goes even more off the rails AND the power shifts in Congress.

It's pretty maddening for him as it is for everyone else, but he's not the let's focus on doing your job type.
@TexChik I'm not saying he's guilty of anything, but he's far from innocent, and he knows he has lots of stuff to hide, even if it is just Stormy stuff.
@Shewolfiie69 We may or may be not get answers, but he's not going to be convicted, even if he could get removed from office for whatever an impeachable offense means.

Ultimately, history will probably be his judge. As I've ranted about before, this is, sadly enough, a political game because Congress decides impeachment, and it may take a constitutional crisis for Congress to even see Mueller's report if it shows anything.

Our system is just not set up for a President who doesn't respect it, and all sides are and should be trying to figure out how to get it all sorted out without pushing things to go the wrong way.
whowasthatmaskedman · 70-79, M
@MistyCee There are still a couple of ways out of this mess. First, IF the Mueller investigation turns up Bribery, Money Laundering or Tax Evasion, those are indictable crimes both Federal and I believe in NY state. Second, the Mid Terms are coming.. Trump has already had hands on two republican losses in Alabama and Pennsylvania. If the Republicans lose big they may well chose to cut him loose and let impeachment have him.
rottenrobi · 56-60, F
He's acting irritated and like a spoiled child. So what? I'd be fucking pissed off too if people kept saying the same old bs and never having anything to back it up.

I'm not a Trump fan, but get over it. Many Americans kept their mouths shut and let Obama do what he needed to do. Can we just let Trump be a president? If he fucks up, he'll be held accountable. There are plenty of checks and balances put into place to be sure he can't run wild.
rottenrobi · 56-60, F
@MasterLee ☺️ always above ground.
@rottenrobi isn’t he running wild now? His alligence is NOT to the American ppl but to his bank accounts and Putin!
rottenrobi · 56-60, F
@Shewolfiie69 yes,he has some business dealings with Putin. I'm actually not worried about that at all. I don't trust politicians as a whole. If they had something on Trump, I think they would've danced into his office by now, with every major news channel, and escorted him out of the building.
The secret server, imho, is a far bigger problem. The Clinton's attempt to sell uraniun to Russia.... I don't know what is truly real or not. But treason comes to mind over and over.
Loretta78 · 46-50, F
all the sudden the word collusion is scary. it is a vague nebulous term without a specific crime to link it too. other than that it's just a buzz word talking point.
@DuchessOfMapleSyrup that may be... all u have to do us research the guy to find out for yourself his long history with Russia!
