When bad people receive awards .... why praise such individuals?

Why give them such precedence ?

It happens in schools too, reward the bad kid dismiss the kid who tries their best!

I remember the time I asked the headmaster at my child’s school “why are the bad kids being rewarded ? “ He replies with “ there is no right or wrong”

No right or wrong ? Wow 😯 That’s messed up! Grow a back bone!

That's what parents and society wants from their schools.
Children with a good sense of right and wrong !

absolutely - I experienced this first hand at my children’s primary and high school thankfully though there are more good teachers in both schools that my children go to but there always has to be one rotten apple and some teachers are no exception - they do not deserve to carry the title Teacher. More like turn a blind eye, sit on the fence @Picklebobble2

@SW-User Education is hard work.
Especially when you KNOW certain kids need statementing QUICK and just never seem to get it !
Whatever their 'needs' they need to be quickly identified, preferably by somebody independent of the school. And just as quickly put in a better environment that encourages their learning.
Otherwise an entire class has their learning disrupted because of that one child.
