If we got what we wanted most would life still be worth it?

The hunter is nothing without the hunt after all.

The irony of this question is the overlooking of the fact that the reason you are in the situation you are in (not you specifically) is because in reality, you focus most of your energies and efforts into hunting and trying to get what you want most, versus the things you actually need. If humans were far less interested in the distractions of life, and more interested in the living part, people would be much happier over all.

Oh, and a hunter without the hunt...? Is called a gatherer. Just saying.

Like, everything? Maybe not. With our current mindsets and genetic propensities. Maybe we would become disillusioned with everything, wouldn't appreciate the value of everything we had; but, it'd be a helluva lot less painful.

It's not really about wanting
After needs are met there are other aspects of living
It's not only about survival
