@MikefromEP Yes it is called forgiveness. Letting no thing on earth have power over you. You are so focused on the goal you refuse to be deflected by minor irritants or irritaters.

That's usually only true if the upbringing is misguided. I'm was brought up in a God fearing home and I turned out all right. I have a healthy respect for what it means to be a Christian and "God fearing" doesn't mean we are His slaves. We are His children and He is our Father, not one that abuses or uses but loves us unconditionally.
