Oh, yes, it is sad, very sad, that supposedly well educated men cannot read and follow the policies of the country they are in.
Mercy were mercy due, not for deliberately breaking the law.

Yes,I see your point.But the law in Indonesia is a bit arbitrary and subject to politics.

Ok, but surely breaking the law in a country and paying the consequences for it has nothing to do with politics. Like visiting Saudi Arabia and possessing/consuming/selling alcohol when everyone knows the penalty for that, if caught.
