These two men have proven that they can make a difference in the world. Yes they made a mistake years ago, but I don't believe any mistake is worth paying ones life for. Perhaps there will be a last minute reprieve from the courts in Indonesia.

The latest news are discouraging and it is all to do with politics.

I think that if Indonesia goes through with these executions there will be increased political tensions between Indonesia and Australia, and I don't think either country wants that.
This came through on Yahoo news this morning,

Jakarta has the ball in its court at the moment and I think they are using it to make a point, particularly after revelations last year over the Australian spy agency phone-tapping Indonesian officials last year and issues over Australia taking a hard line on refugee boats from Indonesia. I would like to think Indonesia is holding their ace card and applying some political pressure for as long as they can and will hopefully give these two life once they feel their point has been made.

Thank you for that article, yes it is all to do with politics and the tendency in many instances to follow the "letter" of the law above the "spirit "of the law.

I hope Indonesia follows the 'spirit' of the law. And at some point, hopefully sooner than later, does away with the death penalty.
