I Believe In Chemistry Between People

I have always find the psychology behind dating behaviour very interesting and for the last couple of months I have done quite a bit of reading and soul searching. I have been talking to many many people about the topic and am thinking of writing a paper on it.

I have concluded that It does not matter how long you correspond on email, text or phone and how strong the emotional attachment is the likelihood is higher than not that there may be no chemistry at all when you meet.

The people I have been talking to has been on and off dating for years now. I only talk to people that has been dating on and off for at least 3 years. As well as people that has never married. Their opinions support the current research out there - and everyone says the same thing . An in-person meeting is the KEY. You may spend hours and hours emailing messaging and talking on the phone, but when you meet in person there may be NO chemistry at all. Then all that time you spent messaging has been pure waste of your precious time as well as the other person's.

I guess my point is . If you like someone - meet them in person, look them in the eye - connect and see if the chemistry are there for both of you. Why waste time - just meet them.

Having spent time on dating sites, where it counts is when you actually meet someone.

I agree dating sites can be a tool to meet someone in person. @chrisCA

@CheerfullyCurious It is just another venue. Some people take them too serious.
