I Believe In Platonic Love

In truth, I consider myself almost something of a serial platonicist. It's not unusual for me to have intense, deep friendships for times with other people to the point where they become central to my life. It's not a romantic love and there's certainly no intention of physical involvement of any kind. And yet, the feelings are very deep, and when the people involved have moved on the pain I've felt has often been as deep as any breakup.
