I Am Working On Myself

Things I need to remember:

Don't take things personally.

Don't make assumptions.

Don't cling to things or ideas, trust the process.

Help where I can.

I have everything I need inside me, I don't need to search for happiness elsewhere.

Breathe and notice that I'm doing it.

Take time out when I get worked up. Anger never leads to useful action.

Take time every day to be quiet and listen.

Stay mindful of self talk and the emotions that come up.

I do my best with these things, I'm not perfect in any way and I struggle some days. What matters is trying, because eventually these things will become a habit and I won't have to remind myself every second of the day.

@TacoCat yeah I think it's good to have a list to refer to, or a mantra to remind yourself of every day.
