I Have Lyme Disease

@windinhishair I hope you are ok. I actually have what's called southern tick disease but it has the same bacteria as Lyme Disease and is treated the same. I have an extensive protocol to follow and it will take a year to get better. There is no promise Ill get back to a 100%. But at least I know what I have and I'm treating it now.

@Hope70 That's the main thing. Once you know what you have, you no longer have the anxiety over your very real symptoms and can move forward.

Thanks for your well wishes. Doctors here are very familiar with Lyme Disease so I'll be treated promptly if I contract it. So far, no symptoms. Knock on wood.

I don't know how long I've had it. Sometimes the symptoms mimics other things. Plus I live in the Midwest and doctors here don't believe it is here and don't test for it. I about went crazy because they called me delusional.

@Hope70 Lyme Disease and other tic-borne diseases have spread all the way to the Rocky Mountains. Doctors are going to have to get used to the new normal. Let us know how you fare with the treatment.

@windinhishair they are all over the US. Doctors just don’t know this

@Sweet517 I don't doubt it. I'm in one of the hot spots, so doctors do look for it regularly, but I know that's not true in most of the country.
