Work out motivation?

I just stopped smoking and am feeling much better. My health hasn't been great, immune system wise, and my dr suggested to gain weight..."meat or muscle" as he put it. I would love to be one of those people that MADE exercise a part of their day like brushing their teeth or changing their underwear (I've got the last 2 items together, thanks). How do I remake myself into that person???
I mean it's all about routine. If you can push through the first couple weeks eventually it doesn't become a chore it just becomes apart of your life. Just try to be consistent. DO it at the same time every day..or every other day, or on the same 3 days during the week.

@MrBlueGuy I'm definitely going to try this! THANK YOU!
@LETICIA No problem it always works for me especially if I have setback due to illness or injury and need to get back into it again. Also don't push yourself too hard in the beginning.
early morning is the best time. getting a work out buddy also works to keep one motivated. I want to take up boxing. But I don't have the money as of yet.

@gobacktoyourroomandstudy I think you're right. In the morning I feel like I can conquer anything (and in the dead of night). Boxing is a goal of mine, too. Our bank accounts must be related. I can't afford it, either!

You could always give yourself a lovely auto immune disease that both forces you to eat healthier and exercise religiously.

@Rokasu I already have one. Lol. Seriously! Diagnosed in 2001. I keep surviving, tho. Now I wanna (finally) do it better than I've been doing it.
