Why did my friend tell me that he never dreams

we are all meant to have lots of different dreams at night it's just if we remember them or not

Remembering one's dream requires timing that you awaken at a specific time during REM sleep. This isn't a typical pattern....so remembering dreams (of which there are many in a night) is far more rare than not remembering.

Most of the time I don't remember my dreams

He dreams he just doesn't remember them.

Some people rarely remember their dreams. I mean really rare. I've heard that we dream all of the time but usually we forget. Looking at my dog bark and run daily in his sleep makes me think so.
