I Prefer the Book to the Movie

They Are More Attractive That Way... I prefer the book to the movie for many reasons. One of the main reasons being that with books, much is left to the imagination. You have to imagine the characters, places and events ba<x>sed upon how they are described, not depicted. Depicting many of these things spoil the mystery. But more importantly, the characters I envision in my mind are always more attractive than the actors paid to portray them. I understand that there is no accounting for differences in taste, but the characters I visualize in my head suit my tastes better than most actors I've seen. So I prefer to read the book, and keep the characters in my mind. I enjoy my own interpretations more that those of any other person, which is understandable seeing as I can't disagree with myself.
