I Can Remember Times Before Cell Phones, Internet And Email

Given the fact that our government here in Australia is considering trying to make it mandatory for every mobile phone and tablet device user to download a contact-tracing app I am seriously considering either ditching my mobile phones until the corona virus stuff is over, or getting a 4g 'feature phone' that does not run Ios or Android and cannot have apps forcibly installed on it. What are your thoughts on this?

Would you be prepared to stop using your smartphone(s), tablets, etc. and either go back to only landline phones or non-smart mobile phones?

Can you break your addiction through FOMO to having to be constantly 'connected' to the rest of the world 100 percent of the time? 8-)

I don't have a smart phone, never had one. I would NEVER allow the government to track me.

I always wondered about that. I watch a European cop show, they're tailing someone and they get their phone number through their license plate. Wth?

It would be impossible to give it up.
