Hm was it in the water? If so looks like a Waterbug. If not it looks like a roach haha

@BlueMetalChick yah i dont think you should worry kill that one or throw it far away from you so they dont mate and make more . I think if theres a few showing up kill those before they multiply. If theres so rare then it is not a infestation.. Kill any single roaches like that one before they multiply untill you don't see anymore. it can work preventative measures haha n i think you should be good. Roaches are a type of beetle i think but i could be wrong. it could have hitchhiked on you like you said. Hopefully The case.

@BlueMetalChick compared to city dilemmas like bed-bugs, -nature bugs are a huge relief. Ticks can be problematic but, we wouldn't be seeing those that easy!
