Interesting? I kept my ex hubbie's surname and my family tend to use it too...

My maiden name is Butters.....not the most glam name really is it? And you wonder why I stick with Duponte ?!?

That we're remarkably unremarkable. Traced back to early 19th century and still in same parish, brickfield labourers, barge hands, agricultural labourers. About as boringly working class as you can get.

On my Dads side we fled France centuries ago as Huguenots we’re suffering persecution. One my Mums side an ancestor was a friend of China’s last Emperor🙂
