Well. Tomorrow would have been my wedding day. I know I’m very lucky not to have been seriously effected by the pandemic.

But I can’t help but feel this sucks [image deleted]

Look at it this way please...the extra stress you both are experiencing now can be a great test to your love and commitment. Once you both get over this hurdle, your relationship will be a much stronger one!

@SW-User not yet, we’re thinking Spring next year might be a safe bet. Everything is paid for. Sadly my friends dress shop went under in lockdown 2, but she gave my dress to me as a gift to ensure it wasn’t sold on. I feel bad for her but she insisted. So I better go on a dress diet and make sure it still fits by then!

Never mind honey. At least you are fit and healthy. My friends have had to postpone twice...with a little luck you will be able to go ahead pretty soon. And you have your whole life in front of you...this is just a tiny setback in the whole pattern of your life. Keep safe. Carry on taking care of yourself and your fiance. Life is good!! @braveheart21 At this time no. But everything is paid for. My friend owns the dress shop, that’s her in the pic. She was worried lockdown would destroy her business so she gave me dress as a wedding gift in case she lost her shop. Thankfully she had kept receiving orders. So it’s just depending on how the virus behaves in 2021.

@SirenCalledLuce so sorry what do you plan to do now? My niece was supposed to be married in Sept and it was postponed. The venue is refusing to return their money. They were just going to reschedule it but we realized that probably wouldn't be for over a year. They just decided to have a small wedding soon.

@SirenCalledLuce we all discussed that, it will likely be at least a year until it will really be safe, depending upon how far your guests must travel. They are now planning only a few guests, parents, siblings and grand parents and a reception when it is finally safe to travel and party appropriately.
