Today a fellow American chatter said that to be anti Trump is to be anti American. But that’s surely against the First Amendment right?

I'm a proud, patriotic American who is anti-Trump. I would never be for a lying, corrupt, bully like Trump.

Oh of COURSE they said that. They honestly believe that too. It's sickening. I am an AMERICAN and can vote for and support or not support whomever I choose. Choosing to support someone other than Trump has NO bearing on whether or not I love my country. Period.

I have no issue with anyone disagreeing with or questioning any politician but disrespecting the office of our elected leaders should be treason I have agreed with many things every president in my lifetime has done and disagreed with as much or more than they have all done to but not to the point of belittling the office they hold

At the back end of this are anti-democratic beliefs which will likely become manifest if Trump loses the election. The belief that they've found the correct guy to run everything and any threat to his power is illegitimate, even if that threat is open vote.

People have a right to their opinion, be it anti, pro, or simply disgusted (with party politics).
