Can you hire a lawyer against another lawyer?

I know that they all live in a lawyers universe and it's all about 'connections' so I'm wondering if I hired another lawyer from a separate firm to get advice and maybe act against another firm because I do not trust them, can I trust the other lawyer or would I be putting them in a situation or maybe they all just support eachother the way alot of corrupt police support eachother? Unfortunately with lawyers you cant tell if they are one of the good ones or not until it's too late.
I cant find any info on this anywhere online
You can...you can do almost anything (flying without mechanical assistance being one thing you CAN'T do.)

But, be aware that Lawyer 101 teaches those in the legal profession to "follow the money."

Which means, that if you have deep pockets, you can hire a lawyer and assuming you have a good case, possibly win. If you don't have $$$ to pay for legal "help" then you'll probably struggle to find a lawyer to take the case. (Of course, this is NOT true if you have a very good case and the lawyer you're suing is rich. Then your new lawyer will smell the blood and go after it.)

Good luck!
@SWisGoingWoke YES this sounds like you know what your talking about. I'm fucking trapped
@MushroomFaerie Just repeating what a lawyer friend told me...and he had just won a big class-action suit against a major corporation. Made him rich.
i think you can do that. the lawyer you should get must have his utmost loyalty to the courts first and then the client. they shouldnt be supporting each other esp if youre the client but they probably do that to come up with a compromise or something. there should be a code of ethical responsibility where you can check the duties and responsibilities of a lawyer.
@Dewms yeah there should be and I know they exist but many of them become corrupt over time, it's just how the job effects their pathology or something. Good lawyers dont get much respect from other lawyers and they make less money. The corrupt ones are the ones who make money

@MushroomFaerie This is the problem: we live in different countries ,different laws and there are different kinds of trusts ;I know two people with trusts who absolutely CAN change their trustee.
I'd research your situation before giving up
@bookerdana yeah I need an outside lawyer, online only gives me so much. When I use what I know they pull out their tactics and shut me down. ☹ its gonna be passive aggressive war for the rest of my life

@MushroomFaerie I don't say it will be easy but it may be doable..going proactive is better tan suffering and being resentful if your circumstances can be overcome

Of course you, can, a firm is a business but that’s a losing battle
@Mona86 yeah I know what a firm is lol, i wouldn't hire one from the same firm, that would be silly, i just dont know if i cant trust any of them, they all seem to be in cahoots

Do you, work in a firm?@MushroomFaerie
@Mona86 I'm not a lawyer. If I was I wouldn't have a problem
