Can you hire a lawyer against another lawyer?

I know that they all live in a lawyers universe and it's all about 'connections' so I'm wondering if I hired another lawyer from a separate firm to get advice and maybe act against another firm because I do not trust them, can I trust the other lawyer or would I be putting them in a situation or maybe they all just support eachother the way alot of corrupt police support eachother? Unfortunately with lawyers you cant tell if they are one of the good ones or not until it's too late.
I cant find any info on this anywhere online

You can...you can do almost anything (flying without mechanical assistance being one thing you CAN'T do.)

But, be aware that Lawyer 101 teaches those in the legal profession to "follow the money."

Which means, that if you have deep pockets, you can hire a lawyer and assuming you have a good case, possibly win. If you don't have $$$ to pay for legal "help" then you'll probably struggle to find a lawyer to take the case. (Of course, this is NOT true if you have a very good case and the lawyer you're suing is rich. Then your new lawyer will smell the blood and go after it.)

Good luck!
@SWisGoingWoke YES this sounds like you know what your talking about. I'm fucking trapped
@MushroomFaerie Just repeating what a lawyer friend told me...and he had just won a big class-action suit against a major corporation. Made him rich.
