i read a question that asked if trump is found guilty on his impeachment and kicked out of office and pence takes over can pence then make trump his vice president obviously i am from united kingdom and do not understand or have the first understanding of the american legal system it was a long time ago since nixon and watergate will trump not serve time if he is found guilty on either or both charges

President Trump will not serve any time if convicted as this is not a criminal trial. Congress has no authority to impose a prison sentence.

Could Pence nominate him as VP? No. Conviction on impeachment bars him from holding office.

Will he be convicted? No. That would require 67 senators to vote guilty. Currently there are 53 Republicans. 47 Democrats and Independents. That means 20 Republicans would have to flip assuming every Democrat votes for. There’s already 2 on record saying they’ll vote against and a few others who are on the fence.

Senate takes over now .. takes 2/3 vote to remove him from office .. Republicans hold majority with 53 of the 100 seats.

Short version .. He won't be removed from office, like Clinton. He may in fact be re-elected despite having been impeached.

No, here in the U.S. the President can not appoint a Vice President. The Speaker of the House would be next in line after Pence.

That is true in the cases of death or resignation. In the case of impeachment the VP has the ability to choose his new VP who then has to be approved by 2/3 majority in the Senate @Cabernetfranc
