Did you know rats cannot be sick?

VarysWeaver · 26-30, M
Do you mean they can't vomit or they can't catch contaigens? Hah. But, no, rats can't throw up, they can't get heartburn, and they can't burp either.

@VarysWeaver Can't vomit. Oddly enough I posted this same question under a different name on a different website a few years ago and people had the same confusion. Why is that? Why don't people realise the meaning of the question at first glance?
VarysWeaver · 26-30, M
@KingKripple Being 'sick' for Americans means ill, they don't tend to use the term for vomiting. I knew what you meant when I read it, ahah. Interesting facts though.
KingKripple · 61-69, M
@VarysWeaver I haven't a clue what Americans mean when they use that term. I'm British and I haven't been to America. Last time I spoke to an American in England he was talking about rabbits.
It's alleged sharks don't get cancer. T/F? I don't know, but go to a vitamin store and you might just find some shark cartilage pills...something about preventing cancer.

Pretty sure they can be, otherwise they wouldn't be much worth as labrats
Bagalamaga · 56-60, M
Most street rats are actually very sick, carrying all kinds of bacteria and parasites which can easily be passed on to humans
KingKripple · 61-69, M
@Bagalamaga That's not what I meant. I meant cannot be sick as in cannot vomit.
