How much sleep do you need to be functional?

Last night I got to sleep around 11, woke up at 2 from a weird dream, back to sleep around 2:30, woke up at 4:30 from a series of texts, back to sleep and then another text at 6:30, back to sleep and woke by my cat at 7:30. I'm too exhausted to do much today and I have a red eye flight to catch tonight 😵😴
Some nights I can sleep 3 hours and feel great and other nights sleep 7 hours and feel like a brick. My body doesn't know what it wants.

@TwiddlerofThumbs atleast you get sleep lol
@ArianaRose25 Agreed! Those nights of no sleep rarely come these days and I'm grateful. I hope you can find yours. 🙃

@TwiddlerofThumbs Oh me too, I'm wondering if I might be up again all night, we'll see lol

Don't sleep with your phone :P

@markfu Normally not an issue. But my GF checked us in for our flight and then sent me texts to confirm it was done per my request. Then the air line text at 6:30 to confirm it was done as well as advise to arrive early for it.

I can personally survive off of 4 hours of quality sleep, but not every day. I usually try to get 7-8.

5 hours minimum, anything less is not enough. you should turn your phone off at night

4hrs I find is best for myself.

Yeah, that doesn’t add up to very restful sleep. Who would be texting at 4:30 ?

@bijouxbroussard My GF was just letting me know we were checked in for our flight tonight...I had asked her to let me know so I knew I didn't need to in the morning. Wouldn't have really been an issue if the air line hadn't then text at 6:30 to confirm it was done also.
