The movie: Pain & Gain
I don't understand why the ratings are so low and why most people didn't like it. It's a black comedy movie. It's everything that's wrong about America and modern life in general, in a single movie.
You see posts in Entrepreneur magazines like'5 things billionaires do everyday' or some similar shit. A lot of people read that. They want to become billionaires . Gotta look cooler, be extreme and all that, right. Just open any entrepreneur related maganizes like forbes , inc. , fast company or anything and youll know what I am talking about.
It's actually all backward. The more you believe that you deserve better, the less chances you're gonna get rich. I mean hell, if everybody is a smartass like they think they are , then everyone would be millionaires by now at minimum.
I got friends who read this shit. They believe they are gonna be future billionaires. They started multiple companies. Hell, they try to stay busy all day doing some side work, project work or anything they can find to hustle. They work everyday to develop business contacts. I feel pity for those people. I don't say what they're doing is bad but they are just lying to themselves about what they want and why they're doing it. And that, is a recipe for disaster.
Most people don't get rich by reading forbes articles and believing that they deserve better. Hell, most people start a business with 1000 doubts in their mind whether it's gonna work or not. Sometimes it does and sometimes it doesn't. But, you never start a business believing that you're the future billionaire.
I can talk about this stuff all day but I don't want to right now.In a nutshell, with those articles, news and all that around you, realize that they are selling only ONE thing to you. Insecurity.
