I always found it weird that some kids date so young. Like 12 or 13. Sometimes even younger. Is there even a good solid parental reason to allow it.

I mean, normally teenagers starting from 13/14 take interest in terms of dating so I don’t see what’s so wrong about letting them explore and learn about themselves. From what I’ve noticed, the more parents repress their kids emotions and room to grow/fail, the worse they’re gonna get. Sort of like how most private school/catholic school students go insane with drugs and sex when they get to college

And what is “dating” at that age? Calling each other bf/gf? Riding their bikes to the local Dairy Belle for a shared milkshake? (Apparently I have a very 1950s idea of dating)

I don't understand how that is allowed. Children of that age barely understand their own bodies, how can they possibly understand the complexities of a dating relationship?

No good reason. Nobody is gonna my daughter when she's that age. No way.
