Do you use the words "house" and "home" in the same manner?

Differ. Home is where you feel good after a day full of.. whatever you do all day. x) And house is just a building.
So an apartment, which is not a house, it can be a home. Or a place like SW can be a home too, in a way.

No. A house is a building, home is where I live.

Usually when I use either word I am referring to the same place...sometimes I say "our house" and other times I'll say "our home". The only difference being 'house' refers mostly to the building itself and 'home' refers to the life we live there in it, but I often use them interchangeably.

It's a tough distinction as the words are both synonymous and used differently.
