I so agree, Carla, but it's easier said than done. It's so much easier, and EVER so much more convenient for me to maintain my coping devices, keeping me connected to SOMETHING, than it is to find people to connect with who are open, accepting and dare to be vulnerable to their own feelings about the things I do to maintain my survival strategy, keeping me a victim.

Absolutely true. We all fall into places of being victimized, but once we get our bearings, we don't ever have to stay in the same place.
