as an adult who is a bully in your life?

It was a workplace bully who tried to undermine me as a new employee in the department. Behind my back, she would tell people that I was slow and lazy. I made no headway when I confronted her angrily. So, I continued to work really hard and kept my nose clean. It took a year, but I persevered and became a respected member of that team. She had to stop because no one believed or supported her anymore and she eventually came to like me.

Fortunately there is only one left, and he is a friend of mine in RL. He likes to try to make me feel as though I am inferior, stupid, foolish, a bad cook, (mostly because I am a woman) and lectures me whenever he is in a bad mood, usually for things I haven't done.

I ignore him for the most part, because I know that he is kidding (at least he laughed after saying something quite horrible, on one or two occasions), OR...and this is even better....it gives me an excuse to insult him, which I quite enjoy. If he gets under my skin, he is banished for several weeks and that usually improves his manners.

No one. I can't say I've been bullied since I was a kid, though plenty of people try to pick fights.

I don't watch TV or care about what's said in the news.

My dad, I don't speak or deal with him anymore.

let anyone bully me now. I let it happen way too much growing up.
I came from a town with a lot of left over Navy families. The kids were real Aholes.
I put a warning VIBE out now.

The irony now is I'm married to a NAm vet and it can be tumultuous!! You can't express how you feel it's difficult.

Just stand up to them. They usually back down.

As an adult, why would you tolerate someone bullying you?

Theres not really much space to bully me bc im an adult & can handle conflict.

My dad can be a bully sometimes. I try to keep a distance

Boss sometimes.not much succesfull at dealing to be honest

At present, nobody. I had a manager who tried, but the union made it not worth her while.

No one bully's me i had one at school so i kicked shit out of him
