I'm a veteran, and from what history , in particular has taught various nations and their militaries; is that the country of Afghanistan has been the crucible to these nations that either attempted to conquer or invade and hold the country. IMO we've given enough there. We can leave, whereas the Russians in the 80s were driven out. Hopefully Trump is doing the right thing.
