Tbh me in every sad situation

KaiserSolze · 46-50, F
I cry at sad films. I didn't used to. I was a laugher or not get it person. Like when I was a kid and saw Bambi and I couldn't understand why it was sad his mum died because he was still alive. Or Titanic, that annoyed me, the stupid bitch I thought. Or disaster movies I'd find really funny.

I had therapy lol and somehow now I cry at sad stuff. It is good to be in touch with emotions.

@SW-User stupid rich bitch can't share a raft and causes that poor boy to die and then feels sorry for her f'in self for the rest of her life. I really wanted her to drown.

The funniest disaster movie was when this father and daughter went to stand at the beach to die when a meteor hit but if they'd stayed where they were they would of lived. I was in a cinema crying with laughter (pretty loudly) and then I realised, hang on I'm supposed to be sad lol.

Anyway... Lol... I cry at sad stuff now. It feels pretty good to be fair, to see the sadness and feel it.

I think my repression of emotions was because I cried during Big Foot and my whole family laughed at me so it all got squashed down after that and I'd see the funny side or the annoying side or simply repress any emotions instead. I was the same with horrors, found them funny or annoying. Now I get frightened.

Now I let myself feel sadness and cry if I want. I cried at Coco when I was watching it with my children, they pointed and said "mums crying" but I said "so, it's sad" Its ok to get emotional. It's not weakness, it's a great strength in human nature to endure sadness. Weakness is wishing the stupid rich bitch dead haha

It's more like: you've been sad enough already in this life. Got desynthesized to it.
