Which is better - being a kid or being an adult?

Being an adult is a lot of fun but it leaves you missing being a kid. It's a hard choice, the freedoms and liberties of adulthood, even as early as adolescence, are very rewarding and enjoyable. But there's a certain something about childhood, almost like a lack of higher self awareness, that makes it so special. Things make less sense, they're more exciting because you haven't experienced them before, humor is different, fear is different, interpersonal interaction is different. I miss being a child, and I still fee like one both emotionally and psychologically.

An adult, but one who never forgets to embrace the qualities that made being a kid fun - curiosity, seeing the possibility for fun in life’s simplest pleasures, letting go and just being in the moment, embracing fun with friends.

Adult for sure. There were way too many restrictions as a kid.

An adult with childlike curiosity.

Being an adult. Although it can be a lot more stressful and there are expectations and responsibilities involved. There’s a lot more freedom, independence, and so much more to experience that you’re not really able to experience until you’re an adult. I’d say being a kid is “easier” but not better.

If I had to pick one I'd choose adult. Kids have the better life, but the limits aren't fun.

Ignorance is bliss as a child, but through experience comes passion from living and going through things. Like writing lyrics, i can write things with real meaning that i could never write as a child and although it's nice to feel free in that sense being young, there's an intangible freedom that also comes with expression.

Kids get to ignore much of that.

How about a adult that’s still young enough to be a kid? Best of both worlds
