Doesn’t anyone know what “good look” means?

I told a guy [i]good look[/i], as in [i]good looking out, thanks for the heads up[/i]. Everyone got confused because they didn’t know what I meant... I thought [i]good look[/i] was a well known phrase. Is it not?
I haven’t heard it phrased like that but I think I’d be able to infer that’s what you meant.

Eg: you go cockatoo while I do the .......
