Do you believe in romantic love?

Over the years and because of experiences I've had I've stopped believe in romantic love or marriage.

Now i just believe in passion, personal growth and family.

Edit*funny that I write this while I'm reading Erich Fromm's The Art of Loving.
Lmao so hypocritical

This is a matter of opinion and ones experience but I think there is but I just have never experienced it😂 all what I got out of Romantic relationships so far is pure betrayal and pain. As for Friendships I have experienced both pain and good.
But The best kind of relationship I have ever had is the relationship with my family Always beautiful and strong.

@Moon3624 To have such family is the best gift one could ever experience

well if that works for you then there's nothing wrong with it... but generally speaking passion often doesn't exist on it's own for long.. love has a habit of sneaking in.. feelings develop, especially with someone we are intimate with.. if they don't then what tends to happen is that we lose passion.. Passion could even be a form of love..as we can't just feel passion for just anyone. there's something about them.. that something tends to grow and develop.. there's nothing wrong with love :)

yes. I'm not so romantic but I can be and have, it is more my wife's ability. But 38 years later I guess I was good enough or she's more patient than Job.i doubt that lol. I know love grows and changes it'll be easier the sooner it's realized.

I believe in it but I'm not sharing that kind of love with anyone right now and I'm not sure that I ever will again

Not anymore.
It's just give-and-take anyway... He gives you affection in exchange for *** regularly.

Romantic love is nothing more than a chemical reaction in the brain, and it’s temporary.

Depends on the person and the love. Passion, spark, excitement and knowledge get me😉

@Sterler45 I get that.it makes sense.
A life lived without romantic love sounds a terribly sad waste of life to me.
I know it's possible for me. The problem is finding the right person.
