Do you follow exes on social media?

If not, when do you stop? Right after the breakup, or a little way down the line when you don't think they'll notice? Assuming it wasn't a bad breakup or anything.

I follow too many people who I used to work with 3 years ago or friends of friends I met once or went on a date with once or twice... cutting it right back to only people still in my life.

I tend to cut people off asap otherwise I'll just stalk them and take forever to move on.

@SW-User Probably the best thing. I have just seen an Instagram post of an ex and new girlfriend on vacation in London and it has rocked me a bit

@raysam363 I tend to keep them, and even people I used to work with if there was no bad feelings involved but then you realize it's 3, 4 or 5 years down the line and you are just being a voyeur really!

My surviving ex wouldn’t know social media if it ran up howling and bit him on the ankle. So far as I know, the only media he knows about is TV.

Nah I unfollow when it comes to mind I don't consider how they'd feel about it

Don't feel bad they're in the past there's no reason to hold contact

We stayed Facebook friends, although I unsubscribed/muted her to get over her. It was like the until this year when I finally burned that bridge and got rid of my Facebook account.
