Battle of the Sexes: Who accepts romantic rejection more gracefully?

Ladies or Gentlemen?
SW-User
Ladies. Guys have been known to murder women after being rejected.
Excellent point.@SW-User

You'd think men would be a little more used to it. I don't know though.
Ladies. The male ego is fragile. The female ego is fragile too, but only when another bitch wears the same attire

I haven’t seen enough women being rejected to know for sure.
SW-User
@Reject this. there aren't enough data points to compare.

@SW-User Women not only rarely approach guys, but most guys are pretty accepting of them. A woman who’s single is a woman with standards. Not one who’s unwanted.

@Reject spot on

women, because we have to worry about whether or not he'll snap and shoot up a sorority or strangle us in our sleep or something.
Hmmm. Imma go with ladies on this one. Lol, I just saw a story about some guy chopping up some 17 year old girl because she wasn't interested. Although, I’ve heard of some horror stories about women being crazy Over rejection too, but men seem to be a lot more aggressive with it.
That's a toughy!
In the short term, I'd say, in general men at first - theyre calmer, women react faster emotionally and let it all out.

But long-term?.... Women, they deny, they argue, they hate, they weep, they deal, they accept.
But guys take a while to process all that sorrow...and it can manifest later, and by then... It's sort of solidified. Makes it hard to go thru the whole grieving process, and it can get stuck at denial or hate, sometimes weep...and it's pretty intense by then.

So in general, women fly off the handle, and men seeth.

Rejection? Women.

They take breakups just as hard as guys though.

I'd say probably men
On average, I think so too...men seem to be better acclimatized to being told no.@SW-User

It´s probably quite different today.
But regarding the experiences of the ones over 50, gentlemen were supposed to take the (visible, apparent) initiative more frequently. So, also a bit more used to be rejected.
Based on my life experience and what i've seen, neither.

People are people. Some handle it better than others and gender does not appear to be a significant factor.
I think men - because (mostly) they have more experience at it. There is, of course, the occasional strangler. (but let’s not forget Jodi Arias).

Gentlemen in my experience. I'm not sure how women deal with rejection because they aren't subject to it as much as men.

In my experience, women. Easy enough for them to find a new partner.

I think men accept it better ... Are like less complicated.

Ladies. I know men who take rejection so bad that they attack their exes and disfigure their faces with acid.

I just cry once I’m alone 😭
