Should a person stay in a relationship if they don’t wanna be single?

Or be lonely / just want intimacy?

I think with any relationship you really need to think about what you will get out of the situation in the long run. And i dont mean material things i mean things that keep our soul nurtured. Feelkng lonely because we're single is temporary, wanting intimacy is temporary when single. With a bad/neglectful partner its permanent and incredibly damaging.

At 48 I'm in a relationship that feels lonely...
I'm used to it..
On vacations we are more together and it's more fun..
If I leave, I'm breaking our family up and im not into added stress.. If I stay.. There's the loneliness anyway, but we are content and our child is super happy!
My glass is half full!
I'm that's the main thing..
He has changed..
Life is strange..
If I was 20 years younger maybe I'd leave..
I feel I could never be in a relationship again. So I've embraced loneliness!
No. If someone is scared of being single then they probably have self esteem issues.

No love? Then no. It wouldn't be fair to the other person unless you open up and she says she's okay with it.

I’m single. I broke up with this girl about six months ago.. sometimes I miss having someone to be able to be intimate with and I ask myself, should I really have broken up with her ?@Casheyane

@Theandyb I'd be honest with you. I haven't been involved with anyone romantically so I wouldn't call myself a relationship guru. If it's intimacy you seek, it can come in different forms. Did you ever find someone who makes you feel that spark not physically, but in a different sense? Someone who's able to touch your heart? Because if you keep being involved with someone with the wrong intentions, stories would say it can start bad but end good. But that isn't always the case in real life.

If he or she is just lonely and want intimacy then is Okay to be in a relationship. Good luck.
This is so confusing. Get your priorities straight....then you'll know whether you should or shouldn't.

Nothing lonelier than being in a relationship with the wrong person.

I’m not qualified to answer that.

It is what it is in some situations.

Point is, is the person happy? Shld only be in a relationship if other person makes them happy not because they are scared of being lonely
KaiserSolze · 46-50, F
That's called a co-dependant relationship. From my observations most relationships have some level of co-dependancy.

I believe that if you've married into something, then sometimes you can simply feel like that for a short time in the wait of better times.

If you don't believe in marriage until death
then wtf is wrong with you. Spend your short life more wisely.
