At my age, 10 years younger is just fine. My girl friend is ten years younger than me, and people think 'she' is robbing the cradle. She'll be the first to admit she looks ten years older than me. Sometimes twenty or more. If I was twenty one, I would not consider dating someone ten years younger! 😆

@SW-User It hasn't happened often enough for me to use them. I get as much pleasure out of playing honey bee to her lilac, so there hasn't been that much of an issue. I might have to go to the well in a few years though. We just get in to each other, and every square inch is erogenous. It's a silent language we speak to each other and I feel very very lucky.

@SW-User Thank you. We are best friends. I met her picking wild grapes that grow around here called "Muscadines" and she is the only other person I have seen picking them besides me. Any friend of a Muscadine is a friend of mine! 😊

I think that for men and women, society looks at you differently.
For eg, if a man in his 40's dates a 20 year old, he is a "sexual pervert" and etc.
The stigmata is different for a lady in her 40's who dates a 20 year old, she is a cougar 🧐

Been there. It’s up to the couple. There is no real formula for love other than what two people believe in and practice.

I don’t know what’s real or not but there are a lot more in happy people out there than there are happy.

I think if someone is 10+ years younger or older than myself, then I wouldn't date, but be friends if they want to

@SW-User Yeah an 18-year-old is still like a kid, to me... Doesn't matter how "mature" they are for their age. I can't even explain the amount of development I experienced, between then and now... However I wouldn't hesitate going 8 years older. I have done that already. Particular guy was a bad match, but I would try with someone else.
