Is weed addictive?

If not why do so many people have trouble stop using it?
SimplyTracie · 26-30, F
Maybe it’s just really good. You know, like cake.

@SimplyTracie Then CAKE must be addictive. 😳🍰
SimplyTracie · 26-30, F
@Danez I think it is. Maybe it’s the sugar. 🤷‍♀️
No its not addictive but people develop a dependacy.
People who have trouble stopping is because they don't want to.
Also it can help people cope better with certain mental illnesses, depression, loneliness, sometimes anxiety but sometimes it increases it

@MushroomFaerie That seems like a good synopsis. I know someone who uses it who used to be a very proficient musician. But he's been feeling very isolated so he just smokes weed all the time now and has basically stopped playing completely. He says weed makes everything more interesting... Kinda concerned about him, but I don't think the weed caused it... I think it's just a means of a coping.
@RogueChimera112 yeah marijuana helps with boredom. It can make you lazy but it can also make you creative and productive... He's smoking the wrong strain

It is. Anything can become addictive. What they mean is it is not physically addictive. As in you won't die don't stopping using it.

Anything can be addictive and I'm sure some people get addicted to weed.

It's not physically addictive, but you grow to love it. Some have it in their head they can't do this or that without being high first. They become accustomed to what they do in their daily lives according to whether they are stoned or not

Not really. It can become a crutch and coping mechanism but It isn't truly addictive.
Some will say it is mentally addictive but mental addiction is BS to excuse weakness.
